Our Classes
Class Descriptions

MINDFUL MOVEMENT
This gentle yoga class will focus on alignment and transitions. We will move mindfully with our breath and slowly flow through vinyasas with intention to explore the why of our movement and how it feels in our bodies. This class is great for building strength, restoring energy, and helping to release stress and anxiety.

GENTLE YOGA
A class for all levels, with fun and relaxing music. Vinyasa flow of poses, with mindful transitions and modifications. Working on balance, strengthening your body, flexibility and learning how to relax your mind with meditation. The main focus is working on what is best for you in a yoga class. Dress comfortable and have fun in your practice with yoga.

YOGA FOUNDATION
This is a yoga class for all levels. Students do not need to have any yoga experience as the class will provide instruction on classic yoga poses, breath work, and meditation. Modifications will be offered along with the use of blocks and props so that all students can feel comfortable despite their level of experience. This is also a great class for students who have an ongoing yoga practice and are interested in refining and deepening their practice.

GENTLE RESTORATIVE YOGA
With a motivating personality and a joyful aura, Olivia provides an invigorating class with elements of relaxation woven throughout. Her classes focus on finding enjoyment and proprioceptive awareness through movement. Olivia makes use of propels in order to encourage the utmost relaxation within each pose. Class is set to soft music and conclude with a brief guided meditation. Students are encouraged to honor and deepen their appreciation of themselves.

VINYASA FLOW
Vinyasa is a flowing, dynamic style of yoga that links movement with breath, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. You will experience a variety of postures and linking sequences, ensuring every class is unique. All levels are welcome to this meditative flow with challenging poses and modifications being offered along the way.

MELLO MORNING YOGA
Wake up with mello morning yoga. This Hatha style yoga class focuses on easy breathe work, gentle stretching and movement, and relaxation. Class will begin with seated, conscience breathing, then shift into awakening sun salutations and a gentle flow. The class will then wrap up with guided meditation and relaxation.

Kalina
INSTRUCTOR
Kalina was introduced to yoga in college and has been practicing ever since. Being a dancer her entire life, she was initially drawn to the physical aspect of the practice and immediately fell in love with the flowing vinyasa style of yoga, linking breath with movement. As her practice deepened, not only did yoga become a means of physical exercise but also a moving meditation that was beneficial both on and off the mat. Wanting to introduce both the physical and mental benefits of yoga to others, Kalina completed her 200 hour teacher training at Yoga Flow in 2018. Kalina is excited to share her practice and is eager to grow and learn from her students.

Megan

She is the co-founder of Open Up Association, a nonprofit that teaches mindfulness tools and movement practices centering people with disabilities. Breaking down barriers for accessibility is a passion of hers and you can find that to be evident in her style of yoga vinyasa. Mindfulness and movement are both practices in empowerment and through empowerment we have the ability to be healthier and happier.

Molly
INSTRUCTOR
My name is Molly Knepper, 200 RYT, and I have been teaching yoga since 2016. I was first exposed to yoga as a child from a wonderful neighbor but stepped away from it for many years as I pursued competitive swimming. I returned to yoga as a public school teacher in search of ways to manage stress. Soon after I completed a 200 hr. teacher-training course in Hatha Yoga. I taught with PIES Studio until I moved to Pittsburgh with my husband to start a family. Since then I have been teaching at my neighborhood civic center, offering classes focused on strength and flexibility as well as relaxation. I love to help others discover yoga’s ability to build functional strength, reduce stress and promote relaxation. My goal as a yoga teacher is to help others learn and create an accessible and sustainable home practice.
